Product Description

Comfortable Clothing Shirts Kurta Casual Long-Sleeve is meant for summer. Chikan is a traditional embroidery style from Lucknow. Literally translated, the word means embroidery. Like many other apparel art and design, the short kurta or top too is an Indian traditional wear. With the change in time and fashion, the modifications were made according to the comfort and affordability of people. Though the source of inspiration remains the same old Mughal fashion, many new changes are seen in today’s style of Kurta. Among men, the most commonly worn kurtas are the coarse handloom kurta with high Chinese collar. Comfort and easy wearing quality has made the kurta universally popular. They are worn in both winters and summers. The materials for summer and winter kurta change according to the weather conditions. Summer welcomes crisp and light cottons, while winter gives way to all heavy and thick materials. However, the handloom kurtas are worn in both summer and winter. The style popular among men’s kurtas is the straight cut with side pockets. The prints commonly seen on this apparel in summers are block prints and tie and dye of Rajasthan and Gujarat. These kurtas come with not only traditional block printing but also with rich embroidery. The winter Kurtas are in silk, satin, and other thick fabric.

Indian Clothes as defined in Wikipedia

Lehenga, choli, and odhani
The women of Rajasthan and Gujarat often wear colorful swirling skirts called lehenga, paired with a short bodice called a choli. If they must cover their heads, they do so with bright veils called odhani.

Tribal styles
Tribal styles vary greatly, but usually correspond with the same styles as salwaar kameez, choli, and other Indian dress.

Men's clothing
The most common male attire consists of the dhoti and kurta, worn in most of the western and central regions. A sherwani is typically worn for special occasions. Men of northern India and the Punjab may also wear salwar kameez, often in plain white cotton, and top the kameez with a dark waistcoat. The lungi (a type of wrap-around) is worn in many parts of India, but depending on the social practices of the region it may be restricted to indoor-wear.
